Mise-en-scene elements

Type of film - War action

Costumes
The costumes will mainly be military uniforms with combat colours. Also formal wear for more important and powerful figures in the film, eg president. The uniforms of the military will fit into the ww2 time zone.









Lighting
The lighting will mostly be black, white and grey showing the depressing environment. A lit up scene will show a more peaceful mood and the dark scenery will show the more depressing mood.

Action
The action scene will be obviously battle scenes consisting of a lot of violence and realism. The acting will involve a lot of emotion with graphic death scenes.

Make-up
The make-up will be camouflage colours giving the effect of being dirty showing the atmosphere of the environment being grim.





Props
The props will mainly consist of weaponry eg guns.

Settings
The film will be set in empty fields in a combat environment, mostly trenches and abandoned buildings as scenery. This will show isolation from the rest of the world being in a life or death situation.
